Rotating Equipment Engineer at Houma

Job Description:

An industry leader in specialty chemicals has an immediate need for a Rotating Equipment Engineer in their Louisiana facility. This particular individual will provide Maintenance Engineering support to the appropriate business units. The Rotating Equipment Engineer should have a wide knowledge of industrial process rotating equipment as well as the leadership to supervise an hourly workforce.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze performance and improve reliability of rotating equipment to reduce the equipment life cycle costs
• Develop and execute a plan and schedule for rotating equipment outages
• Provide support for the area planners, maintenance foremen, and mechanics
• Provide technical support and training to improve the reliability, repair and maintenance of rotating equipment
• Yield Maintenance Engineering support to the appropriate business units.
• Troubleshoot problems and address issues to improve the reliability of rotating equipment

Requirements:

• BS in Mechanical Engineering
• 3+ years of Industrial Rotating Equipment Experience
• Chemical Plant experience is preferred
