GREEN FLAG MILITARY ANALYST/PLANNER/TRAINER at Fort Polk

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

In support of the GREEN FLAG exercises program, employee will:

• Provide Air Support Operations Center (ASOC) emulation and, as required, support ASOC equipment set-up and operational checks and ASOC product preparation, technical analysis/support and recovery following exercises
• Provide liaison services between GREEN FLAG programs and entities of the Theater Air control System (TACS) Air Operations Center
• Utilize current combat equipment to enhance tactical and operational training
• Support training, instruction and assessment of operational ASOC units ICW GREEN FLAG exercises
• Provide technical support to ensure battle management, tracking systems and other composure related systems are operational and available for exercises
• Integrate with 4 GREEN FLAG location operations planning teams to provide exercise life-cycle planning support
• Provide subject matter expertise to inform the program budget request process

This is a contingent position based on fundingfrom the customer.

MINIMUM TANGIBLE QUALIFICATIONS:

Must have one or more of the following:

• Operations analysis with minimum of 4 years close air support (CAS) experience
• USAF Air Liaison Officer of USMC Air Officer -- minimum of 2 years of experience
• Joint Terminal Attack controller (JTAC) minimum of 4 years of experience
• Tactical aviation with minimum of 7 years of close air support experience
• 2 years of experience in ASOC or similar C2 node
• Fire Support System expertise.

• Applicants selected for this position will require a National Agency Check to access government computer systems and a final clearance appropriate to the level of COMSEC and support equipment used at various GREEN FLAG locations. Final DD 254 will determine specific security requirements. We anticipate the minimum will be a final DoD SECRET clearance, background screening, and the ability to obtain a TS/SCI for selected positions. Applicants selected for a security clearance will be subject to a security investigation and must meet eligibility requirement for access to classified information.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Combination of tactical aviation, fire support system, ASOC and operations analysis experience.
• Prior support of GREEN FLAG Support Element (GFSE) a distinct plus.
• Final SECRET or higher clearance.
