Classification: Bookkeeper - F/C

Compensation: $17.50 to $19.00 per hour

Accountemps has an ongoing opportunity for a Full Charge Bookkeeper with our construction client! Our client is searching for a hands on, self motivated Bookkeeper who can handle day to day operations in St. Rose with little to no supervision in a fast paced, high volume setting. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of high volume accounts payable, billing, and purchasing in a construction setting, and be able to handle all administrative tasks including customer inquiries, field requests, and new hire paperwork preparation. Must have experience with Peachtree Construction software, Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills, and ability to effectively communicate with site workers, project managers, and corporate office personnel are key for this position.
