Classification: Controller - Assistant

Compensation: $60,000.00 to $80,000.00 per year

Our Baton Rouge manufacturing client is searching for an Assistant Controller. Candidates must possess a 4 year accounting degree, 5 or more years industry experience, job costing and fixed assets. Candidates need to have experience analyzing quotes for profitability (EMP worksheets), analyzing job performance vs. quotes, assisting in preparation of all month end cost information (COGS, coil reconciliation, and job cost summaries), analyzing and publishing departmental budgets, preparing and tracking capital expenditure budgets, reconciling and maintaining fixed assets, preparing tax schedules, account analysis, and supervising staff.
