We are searchingfortwo Mechanics2 HD Construction Equipment for ourGeismar, Louisiana branch as we grow and expand our business. This is an exciting time at Volvo Rents where challenge and rewarding growth opportunities await you!

Accountabilities:

• Perform maintenance and repair of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems

• Ability to troubleshoot, diagnose and repair fleet inventory
• Prepare and complete service documentation as required
• Training of lower level technicians
• Conduct equipment demonstrations for customer use
• Source and requisition parts

Job Requirements

• High School Diploma, Certified mechanic preferred
• 3 - 5 years experience in similar position
• Highly developed experience with electrical, hydraulics, heavy duty equipment and small engines
• Excellent ability to read schematics and diagrams
• Exceptional troubleshooting and diagnostic skills, and own tools
• Use of MS Office applications required
• Excellent communication, organizational, time-management, and customer service skills
• Ability to work in a dynamic team environment with good interpersonal skills
• Experience in construction equipment industry preferred
• Valid drivers license
• Fluent in speaking and writing in English
