Senior Plant Accountant at Hahnville

Job Description

This position shall beresponsible for the accounting activities of multiple manufacturing sites. Theposition provides plant financial support to the Finance Department, PlantManagement and Business Management.

Responsibilities:

•  Provide financial leadership and support to all levels ofplant and corporate management

•  Control all plant financial functions pertaining toinventory and the production operation

•  Ensure the timeliness and accuracy of the monthly close

•  Involved in plant operations to observe and communicatefinancial impact of plant activities

•  Provide trend, key data, andstatistical or other ad-hoc analyses

•  Safeguard the plant assets bymaintaining accurate plant balance sheets and reconciling timely

Job Requirements

o  Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Finance, MBA/CPA a strongplus

o  10+ years of Accounting/Finance Experience in aManufacturing Environment, preferably in the Chemical Industry

o  Recent Plant Accounting Experience preferred  

o  Demonstrated senior level accounting ability and leadershipqualities

o  SAP Experience
