SUMMARY
The Project Manager, System Admin/Network Security is responsible to provide support for a Customer Support Center, Systems Administration and provide Network Security support for programs and projects managed or supported at the end client facility. The contract resulting from the Customer Support Center (CSC), Systems Administration and Network Security support procurement will cover functions such as such as: Help Desk support, Telephony, Computer Operations support, Systems Administration support, Information Security and Administration, and Network Security functions.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.
- Assures the clients satisfaction with Tatitleks contract performance, in accordance with Tatitlek corporate values and objectives and within delegated authority.
- Enforces corporate standards, policies, and procedures, and assures the organizations good order and discipline, health and safety, and compliance with local/state/federal laws and regulations.
- Thoroughly understands the contract, including all specified and implied tasks.
- Organizes Project resources; establishes plans, policies, processes and procedures; and prioritizes Project tasks
- Controls, supervises, and directs project employees and subcontractors to ensure that they safely and efficiently execute contract tasks; validates and reports on performance and quality.
- Develops the potential of subordinate managers and staff, by coaching, evaluating, rewarding, and as necessary disciplining.
- Other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
Education
- BS degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Engineering, Physical Sciences, Mathematics.
Experience
- Eight (8) years of direct work experience, to include: Design, Development, Production, Installation, and Test & Evaluation of large or small computer systems.
- Four (4) years as manager of a large or small computer operations department, to include: Supervising Project Personnel, Scheduling Work, Writing Proposals and Preparing Bids, and Equipment and Material Logistics Control.
- Formulated and reviewed project feasibility studies, determined project cost, interpreted policies, purposes, and goals of the organization to subordinates.
- Familiar with organizational policies and procedures, DoD / DoN Life Cycle Management (LCM), and documentation standards.
Skills, Knowledge and Abilities
- Knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and DoD procurement policies and procedures.
- Ability to manage system development and support contracts.
- Organized, directed and coordinated planning and production of all contract support activities.
- Must have demonstrated capability for oral and written communication with all levels of management for planning and control of projects.

Performance of essential and ancillary functions requires maintenance of physical conditioning adequate for bending, stooping, sitting, walking or standing for prolonged periods. Most work requires sitting in a comfortable position with frequent opportunity to move about. Must be able to lift 30 lbs. Requires near visual acuity to review written documentation; ability to hear and understand speech at normal room levels and on the telephone; manual dexterity to operate a telephone and keyboard; and ability to lift horizontally and vertically.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Most work will be performed in environmentally controlled areas. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate but can be high.

Additional Qualifying Factors
Must be able to able to gain access to US military installations, after undergoing background check. Valid Driver’s license, proof of insurance and good driving record required. Reliable transportation to/from work a necessity, and travel will be required. As a condition of employment, must pass a pre-employment drug screening, as well as have acceptable reference and background check results.
