This person will:
Be responsible for the sourcing, and transportation of equipment and parts; assisting with inventory control and reporting; responding to customer concerns; documentation and adherence of customs compliance regulations, and supporting all office operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate freight vendors transporting equipment and parts to ensure timely cost effective delivery, negotiate pricing as necessary.
- Assist on management of freight vendors.
- Develop, assist, and/or report on key performance indicators in regards to national Logistics Operation.
- Maintain and provide accurate records of equipment and parts inventory.
- Manage and maintain monthly fleet reporting statistics, presentations and reports.
- Provide, maintain and record documents pertaining to importation or exportation of goods in accordance with all US state and federal regulations and in accordance with Aggreko National Logistics Operation Procedures.
- Process purchasing transactions for freight, fuel and other items as needed.
- Handle incoming customer calls to address transportation, service, or contract issues.
- Provide freight cost estimates for proposals and contracts.
- Load and unload equipment and parts from trucks and ensure its appropriate storage as needed.
- Provide timely review of service related paperwork to determine eligibility for billing as needed.
- Provide support as needed to process paperwork and data entry in various areas such as payroll, service documentation, purchasing, and rental contracts.
- Play an integral part of the disaster response team and act assist in any logistical roles as needed.
Job Requirements
Experience- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent years of experience
- 3-5 years of relevant work experience
- Customer service orientation
- PC literacy in a Microsoft environment or ERP system
- Responding with a sense of urgency
- Skilled at multitasking
- Professional and effective communication skills with people at various organizational levels
- Ability to work effectively in a fast paced stressful environment
- Detail orientation
