Requirements/Responsibilities:

• Prepare a variety of moderately difficult to difficult engineering drawings for a complete phase of a project utilizing various design packages
• Provide conceptual designs and detailed CAD drawings for process mechanical systems; tanks, chutes, hoppers, feeders, conveyors, and piping interconnects for associated equipment
• Ensure compliance with client design standards and specifications
• Have a good understanding of engineering work processes and project execution
• Demonstrate a sound understanding of design concepts with minimal engineering input and a proficiency in utilizing manual and computer-assisted techniques for difficult design applications
• Perform field assignments as assigned

Job Requirements

Mechanical CAD Designer-New OrleansEducation :

A.S. degree with CAD training certification

Experience :

Mechanical Intermediate level CAD Designer with a minimum of 5 years’ experience with CAD drafting and design of mechanical process and piping systems. AutoCAD experience is mandatory and 3D experience is highly preferred. Possess good Communications Skills. Be cooperative with our engineering team and the customers.

Relocation :

We are looking for candidates local to the area.
