Inside Sales Representative Merchant Services at Baton Rouge

Job Description

Summary:

This is an inside sales position responsible for inbound telephone sales of Merchant Services products (no outbound cold calling is required at this time). The individual in this role will provide information to existing and potential customers regarding all Capital One merchant services, and all Capital One accounts and services offered. The individual will also communicate both verbally and in writing with other departments within and outside the division, and also with customers on account-related matters. In addition, the individual will assist with opening new accounts by processing proper account documentation.

Responsibilities:

Inbound telephone sales of Merchant Services and other bank related products

Meet established goals in regard to monthly sales and budget guidelines

Work with Merchant Services Sales Advisors in a team-related approach with the goal of increasing closure rates of bank and non-bank related referrals and leads

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

High school diploma, GED or equivalent certification or military experience

At least 1 year of sales or customer service experience

At least 2 years of retail banking or equivalent experience
