Staff Accountant at Baton Rouge

Compensation: $15.84 to $18.34 per hour

Accountemps is looking for an Accountant in the Baton Rouge area to fill a temporary Accountant position. This is a temporary assignment that will run from July until the end of November. The ideal candidate for this Accountant position will be a CPA with at least 5 years staff accountant experience inside of a corporate/accounting setting. Duties for this position include processing and maintain the General Ledger, processing Journal Entries, processing Accruals, processing and overseeing Month End Closing and picking up light Accounts Payable duties. A working knowledge of Solomon software and Yardi software is highly desired for this Accountant position since this candidate will facilitate a software conversion.
