PARTS PERSON II

Scope of Work:

• Perform all aspects of tasks associated with inside sales of products and services that meet the requirements of WPI customers.

Primary Job Responsibilities:

• A Parts Person II enters emergency Purchase Orders for back orders from vendors.
• A Parts Person II receives, updates, and notifies customers when orders are completed.
• A Parts Person II will expedite long lead time orders.
• A Parts Person II will file warranty claims with vendors.
• A Parts Person II will coordinate returns to vendors with shipping department.
• Available for nightly and weekend call outs.
• Maintain and update current customer files. 

 Requirements
PARTS PERSON II

Minimum Qualifications:

• Must have 2 years(s) previous experience.
• Must have a high school diploma. GED or equivalent.
• Some mechanical background or knowledge helpful.

Requirements:  Skills, Knowledge and Abilities (KSA’s)

• Must have a working knowledge of the above titled position and how it relates to the overall business and its objectives.
• Must meet goals and objectives set forth by the company.
• Must conform to policies and procedures set forth by the company.
• Must have a current drivers license and acceptable driving record per WPI insurance carrier standards. (ONLY IF JOB REQUIRES).
• Must be computer literate, a Windows based environment preferred (MS Word, Excel, and Outlook).
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs. (ONLY IF JOB REQUIRES)
• Must be able to bend and twist several times a day.
• Must have the ability to work flexible hours, days, and weekends (as necessary).
• Must be dependable and able to work independently.
• Must maintain good client relations.
• Must maintain a professional appearance.
• Must promote and maintain a clean, neat and safe work environment.
• Must have the ability to effectively operate various types of office equipment, i.e. fax, printer, copier, etc.
• Must have the ability to effectively operate a forklift.
• Must protect the company assets and interests.

Working Conditions:

• Typical hours of work are Monday - Friday; 8:00AM - 5:00PM
• Weekend hours as necessary.
• Office indoor work.
