Retail Grooming Salon Manager

Our salon is one of the fastest growing services at PetSmart.  The salon experience can range from a nail clipping to a full service groom.  The Retail Grooming Salon Manager is responsible for ensuring an efficient and positive grooming experience.  This is a hands-on management position in which involves grooming pets, interfacing with our pet parents and generating new business.  
 
Responsibilities Include:

• Greeting pets, helping pet parents identify their pets individual needs and finding appropriate solutions   
• Managing all aspects of the Grooming Salon operations
• Driving to generate sales and control operating expenses
• Executing all hiring, training/developing and management functions for a staff of five or more associates
• Grooming all breeds to standard
• Strictly adhering to all policies and procedures to ensuring the safety of all pets in our salons
• Maintaining salon appearance standards

Minimum Requirements:  Minimum two years of professional grooming experience or five years of previous manager experience  Ability to work flexible hours (including nights, weekends and holidays).
