POSITION OVERVIEW

The Quality Assurance Analyst is a key member of the Physician Practice and provides billing and coding expertise to ensure all patients receive high quality, efficient care.

DUTIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:


Maintain and Execute Quality Assurance methodologies and measurements

Develop and execute detailed test and use cases based upon solution specifications

Manage bug resolution and application retesting

Maintain metrics to indicate when software has reached deployment-level quality

Participate in HIPAA system assessments, remediation steps and quality assurance activities to ensure HIPAA compliance

 Requirements

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
This position requires the following minimal requirements:


QA testing experience and testing methodologies

Proven ability to write and execute QA test plans

Hands on experience with full cycle testing including: GUI testing, functionality testing, performance and stress testing, system and regression testing and integration testing

Knowledge of medical billing and collection practices helpful

Familiar with HIPAA, including transaction sets, privacy and security helpful

Ability to perform effectively with deadlines and stressful situations


EXPERIENCE


1-2 years testing experience; Back End Medical Office Operations a plus
