BASIC FUNCTION SUMMARY Design, Develop, and Maintain New SoftwareApplications. ESSENTIAL DUTIES &ACCOUNTABILITIES 1. FurtherDevelopment of Existing Software Applications.2. Planningand documentation of the design process, including completion of the finalproject file and coordination with engineers involved in the project.3. Planningand coordination of testing; analysis and reporting of results.4. Programmingin LabVIEW, C/C++, SQL, BASIC, and the many Web Design Languages.5. Planningand design of basic networks.6. Integratingsoftware into assembly processes via training and procedures.7. Performingadditional related duties as requested or required.8. Possibletravel via commercial transport to various FRANKS and/or customer locationsworldwide.    Requirements  QUALIFICATION STANDARDS 1. B.S.(or equivalent) Degree in Computer Science or related engineering curriculum2. GoodCommunication Skills in the English language using both the written and spokenword.3. ProblemSolving Skills4. Abilityto work on projects individually and as a part of a team5. Availability,via pager or telephone, to respond to after-hours and weekend inquiries andemergencies from the field or other FRANKS facilities worldwide6. Competencein:- Algebra,Geometry, Trigonometry- BasicMeasurement and Data Analysis- BasicGraphics and User Interface design- SoftwareDevelopment Life Cycle principles
