Finance Manager

Leads the Finance and/or Accounting function for single or multiple SBU’s. Responsible for fundsmanagement, cash flow, tax management, budgets and financial control/reporting. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:  Financial Reporting: Develops and reports plant performance through performance reporting,absorption models and cost analysis. Projects, analyzes and reports all activities that financiallyimpact the plant.  Budgets: Develops, analyzes and presents monthly and annual budgets, sales forecasts andvariance reports to management.  Operations Support: Prepares all daily/weekly/monthly operations reports which may include labor,financial and plant performance. Reviews GL entries and insures accurate reconciliations. Insuresall tax schedules (state/province, federal/country-specific) are prepared and reported timely.  Labor & Inventory: Creates the labor master schedule, audits and directs the annual physicalinventory, asset inventories and reporting on performance variances incurred by the plant. Reviewsannual physical inventory count and reconciliations. Reports results to management.  Payroll: Manages the payroll function for the plant(s), insuring data entry is correct and submissionto corporate payroll is timely.  Management: Develops and mentors a competent workforce through recruitment, training, coachingand establishing goals and objectives that drive the organization  Other responsibilities as assigned or directed.

This position:· Directly supervises 1-8 employees.· Indirectly manages 3-5 employees through subordinate supervisors/managers.· Controls an annual budget (production, fixed cost, inventory) of $1-$90M· Controls annual payrolls of $1-$60M and is responsible for running a $100MM Sales P&L.  RequirementsExperience Required: Must have 5-8 years experience in accounting in a manufacturing environment, preferably in a globalorganization; at least 3 years supervisory experience, 2+ years experience in cost accounting. Must beable to accurately analyze and project information which will directly affect sales, marketing and businessmanagement. Ability to effectively communicate at all levels of the organization is necessary.Education/Training Required:Bachelors degree (or international equivalent) in accounting, finance or other related area. Must beproficient in Word, Excel and PowerPoint. SAP, Cognos experience and CPA preferred.
