Food and Beverage Manager at New Orleans

Job Description

This person oversees the different functions of the food and beverage areas including stewarding, banquets, restaurants, room service and bar at different times within the hotel. Responsibilities may include scheduling, training, and coaching/counseling/discipline.

Hyatt Regency New Orleans has 200,000 Sq Ft of meeting space and 5 outlets on property.

Job Requirements

  • A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast paced environment.
  • Refined verbal communication skills
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time and walk moderate distances
  • Ability to lift, pull, and push a moderate weight (about 50 pounds)
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends and holidays
  • Proficient in basic computer skills
  • 2 years previous hospitality food service management/supervisory experience preferred
