Description: As a Staffing Director of Pharmacy / Pharmacist in Charge, at DeSoto Regional Health you will oversee all pharmacy operations at including planning, organizing, controlling, and supervising activities, according to hospital policies, standards of practice of the profession, and state and federal laws.  You are the main full time Pharmacist and Director of Pharmacy all in one.  You will recommend innovations in the practice and function of the pharmacy to hospital administration and carry out mutually agreed upon programs as well as staffing and dispensing. Director of Pharmacy is responsible for the continued growth, development, and implementation operational systems that support safe delivery of pharmaceutical care for the hospital and 3 clinics.  The Director supervises 3 Pharmacists and 2 Pharmacy Technicians. 

This position includes working 1 Sunday per month and includes taking on call on a rotating basis that is shared with the other pharmacists.

Qualifications:
- Pharmacy degree (BS or PharmD)
- Current LA pharmacist license in good standing
- 2 years acute inpatient Pharmacy leadership experience preferred
- Chemo & 340b experience desired
