What we do - Strategic Comp is a large deductible workers compensation provider for high hazard companies. Our operations are national, but our headquarters are in Metairie, LA. We are currently searching for an experienced VBA and SQL developer to assist in our growing business needs.

Employee will primarily have two roles:

Help improve our business efficiency.

Assist our analytical team.

Employee will build and maintain relational databases (front ends included), improve our current databases, assist in data collection and mining, and automate Excel spreadsheets. Employee will train under our professionals to understand the operations and complexities of our business. Employee should maintain clear and complete documentation of his or her code and help improve the documentation of our current systems.

We are seeking a DEVELOPER that has:

- Bachelors degree (exception possible)
- 3+ years of work experience (preferred)
- Experience with VBA
- Experience with Microsoft SQL Server and writing SQL queries
- Experience with MS Office products (Excel, Access, Outlook, Word)
- Strong understanding of relational databases
- Technical research and analytical skills
