This position is responsible for providing leadership and strategic direction to all activities of Customer Center service including recruitment, development and management of service employees to achieve superior capabilities in satisfying our customers.
Job Requirements
1) Generate Revenue ( 50% ) Respond to customer calls and assess appropriate action regarding service needed and best technician to meet customers needs. Develop sales programs to sell service solutions and parts capabilities to the customer. Drive Package Care and PM linkage strategy. Schedule service personnel in an efficient and effective manner.2) Develop People ( 15% ) Manage the recruitment, product training, development and performance of the service team to ensure that the teams skills and experiences meet customer expectations. Coach , counsel and manage performance for all service related personnel on regular basis.
3) Manage Cash ( 5% ) Ensure that invoices are prepared and distributed to customers as soon after service jobs are completed. Handle and resolve all disputes as quickly as practical, keeping in mind customer satisfaction as well as overall costs.
4) Control Cost ( 5% ) Manage services teams expense budgets and resources in a responsible and effective manner. Drive for complete utilization of the service team as well as develop team efficiency.
5) Ensure EH&S and Operational Excellence ( 5% ) Maintain shop upkeep and tooling , following OSHA and EPA standards and guidelines. Ensure all employees follow and maintain safe work habits in the shop as well as at the customer site.
6) Earn Customer Loyalty ( 10% ) Direct preparation of service quotes and proposals. Reduce the number of call backs by having the right technician and the right part provided on time.
7) Other ( Non Key Driver ) ( 10% ) Email, management reports, strategy meetings at the regional level. Serve as back up to service coordinator tasks.
