Job Description
- The Compensation Specialist is responsible for the support and administration of System compensation programs.
- Assists and supports salary quote administration as part of talent acquisition and manager initiated transactions.
- Provides support and problem resolution on policies, regulations, and practical standards regarding payroll, compensation, and performance management.
- Manages the quarterly merit process including tracking of performance reviews, merit increase recommendations, and updating in HRIS system.
- Responds to employee and manager inquiries related to compensation matters.
- Partners with Total Rewards COE on compensation planning and administration.
Job Requirements
Education, Experience & Training:
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- 1-3 years experience in operations at an administrative level.
- Experience with Lawson preferred.
- 4 years additional experience may be substituted in lieu of degree.
Other Qualifications:
- Must be computer literate with proficiency in Word, Excel and Access.
- Knowledge of compensation administration principles and procedures preferred.
- Excellent organizational and interpersonal communications skills.
- Must have the ability to work well under time constraints.
- Must be able to handle confidential material responsibly at all times.
